Due to the impact of extreme weather, at 06:00 on June 18, 2026, the pumping station system of the Suoi Trai and Eacharang domestic water supply works experienced a lightning strike that caused a fire and explosion in the electrical system controlling Level I and Level II Pump Stations at the water treatment area, leading to power outages and damage to some equipment of the water supply system.
